Instructions for setting up a live audio and/or video broadcast presentation using Windows Media Encoder 9 Encoder

1. New Session

• Select Broadcast a live event.
• Click OK.

2. Device Options

• Select the devices you want to use.
• Choose the appropriate devices listed for each category.
• Click Next.

3. Broadcast Method

• Select Push to a windows media server option.
• Click Next.

4. Server and publishing point

• Type in your server name.
• Type in your publishing point.
• Click Next.

5. Encoding Options

• Select the connection speeds of your live stream.
• Click Next.

6. Arhive File

• Check the box if you like to create a arhive file or leave it empty if you don't want to create a arhive file.
• Click Next.

7. Display Information

• Type your information. This information will be displayed when the encoded content is viewed.
• Click Next.

8. Settings Review

• Review the information.
• Click Finish once the information has been verified.
